Potting on leggy beans

I seem to be a dab hand at producing very leggy seedlings, this issue is that my beans have longer legs than baby giraffes

Can I pot them on and bury some of the stalk in the same way as you can do with tomatoes?

To continue the theme, tomorrow I'll post some pics of my beetroot, I'm also worried about them

You need to be careful - tomatoes root easily from stems but some plants really don't like having their stems buried and they can rot. If in doubt I would plant them at the same level.

Thanks, I may just re sow and get the triffids outside as soon as possible!

Plenty of time to re-sow beans. I haven't started mine yet.

Mien runners got really leggy last year and I just cut them back to the just above the first leaf junction and the top will then regrow from side shoots.

I can never tell if Runners are leggy or just growing so I play safe & stake them................
