How you have those against wall gives me idea. My wall faces west though. Would have sun from midday but would shelter from blasting wind from south as itl pass them by(hopefully)

Funny you should say that, that wall faces east so get the sun till about midday but I have to fleece my young plants to shelter them from the wind, its usually mid June before the fleece comes off.
