It looks like a cucumber to me?? I'd go with BB and stick it in its own pot see what happens.
An old boss did that with an unknown plant, turned out she grew herself a lovely dock
Sad thing is she still hadn't worked it out by time it was a foot tall !!
Maybe its a Tomcumber plant or a Cucumato and you can make your fortune selling it to one of the seed companies
Wow, yes VC, that'd be marvellous! Think of the money we could make with that one ....
If we bred it with a lettuce: cucamatolet - market it as an instant salad bowl
Tomcuclet
This little beauty has grown along with my tomato seedlings - (it was in the pack of seeds with the other tom seeds - VC you thought it could be a begonia as you'd got them on the brain..!!) and wasn't sure what it was at the two leaf stage, and here it is now:
(Cucumber.....?????)
Cucumber or squash.......................or a funny begonia
I've merged the threads so the clever clogs can see that they were right at the outset
Cheers VC..! . I tried to find my original post but gave up .......!!
Yeah, they were clever clogs!
Ooooh, it's quite interesting trying to solve my mystery (half-breed tom/cucurbit....) plant - or could it be a funny begonia that thinks it's a cucumber/tom ........
