  • Peas Please

    How tall are your peas?

All I can find are short ones.
I've sown some really short ones for an early crop in pots and picked up a packet of Kelvedon wonder thinking they were tall for the allotment...but they only grow to 30 inches high.

I spent ages peering at the backs of seed packets today but they all said (in very small writing hidden within whole paragraphs of irritating blurb) 24 to 30".
As you may have guessed, I still can't find my glasses

I'd really like to make more use of vertical space so what varieties (readily available) are taller please?

Am growing Magnolia Blossom Tendril Pea this year for a tall one - if they do well I'm hoping to add some to the seed circle. (cue colossal numbers of pea-focused natural disasters!)
