So are you say the only way to injure your feet is through diggin'............................Don't worry about dropping bricks or panes of glass or kicking a stump.....................

Rigger boots all year round for me - although during the summer months I spray the insides with a mixture of lavender oil and grounded unicorn tusk to ensure I have 'feet to die for'.
.......because you're thinking of putting the kettle on and making a pot of tea perhaps, you old weirdo. (Veggie Chicken - 25/01/18)

Uhoh - another sucker has fallen for the old "grounded unicorn tusk" scam
When will they learn that they're buying toenail clippings found down the back of the sofas of illegal footparers from Outer Hull

After a couple of hours down the lottie I usually have feet to die from.

OK... confession time... slippers a lot of the time. Well, usually I'm just nipping out, only be five minutes, and so on. Drives Mr Snoop mad. I don't dig in them, though: he has declared that illegal. If I'm going out for a proper gardening 'session' or digging, I've got some workman's boots with plastic rather than steel toecaps (almost as good and spring back, apparently, after impact but I've never had to test that).

Old pair of safety boots (unless I'm just doing some watering) whatever the weather. As I'm on clay I'll try and avoid the plot if it's so wet I that I'd have to dig out the wellies.

Steelies if I'm doing anything like heaving boulders around or knocking in posts and the rest of the time wellies in wet weather and good old mock crocs. I don't dig other than to shift mole/vole runs.
If it is very hot but has rained hard I've been known to wear wellies and a bikini
The first summer here I lived in flipflops until I broke a toe

I think when I replace my wellies I'm going to get toe 'tectors. Every time I wang the spade in I wince slightly as my expect-the-worst imagination kicks in...

I only have my back garden, so wellies if it's wet or a pair of canvas shoes if not. I also don't dig, though I have been known to knock my toes off the edges of the stepping stones, the table, the decking...

I wear 'Country Boots'. Ariat Grasmeres mostly. They're not waterproof anymore, so relegated to garden use. I need the support for dodgy feets!

If it's super dry I poodle on out with my comfy slippers - we have hard floors which get swept daily so not too worried about traipsing muck in Otherwise pink clogs or ankle height wellies if really wet.

I like shoes I can just slip my feet into - no having to bend over and pull anything up or tie laces. Too impatient to get outside
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
