      I ate the middle, bolting one tonight, leaving the little baby sprouts beneath the main head to grow on.

        So lovely VC! They look really healthy too. This thread reminds me to buy the seeds. My plot neighbour told me about perennial caulis last year and I was ???

        Brassicas from cuttings is something I haven't heard of... (goes off to google it).

          These two bad boys just arrived! I'm soooo excited!! I'm going to plant one out in the ground and one in a pot. What size of pot do you think I'll need? Can I choose a smaller pot this year and re-pot next year? Or would they rather be undisturbed in firm soil? Also, will they be ok in partial shade?
