Must admit was gonna look at diy options at the weekend

Thx Rary for the idea. Mats not that cheap here so have ordered 5 x 80litre fabric pots for £18. May put one inside another to get strength as biodegradable doesn't sound long term to me and will add about 3 rings of cable ties. The 3 spares bags can await the next online or B&Q tree sale

God, remember Airpots - they were all the rage a few years ago.
Hardly ever hear/see about them now.

I'm hoping the recent fashion for 'Vegepods' and ' Vitopods' or whatever they're called, meet the same oblivion outcome.

Not that I'm against such things, but it's the ridiculous pricing I object to.

        Rant over
.......because you're thinking of putting the kettle on and making a pot of tea perhaps, you old weirdo. (Veggie Chicken - 25/01/18)

I've made my own air pots out of yogurt and pot noodle pots. I'm starting off my pentland javelin and king Edward spuds in them.

            Hi Dynamo

So are you just punching holes in them?

And do like pot noodles, I used to scoff the beef ones back in the day

Yes I used the "Reamer" tool on my Swiss Army Knife to punch them. You'll see it on the table if you zoom in on the first picture. I found it easier than using an electric drill. However, today I cut some holes in some plant pots and I found the drill better to use on them.
