No I haven't, there are some lows of 6 or 7 and I think it's too cold. I look for night time temps that are consistently over 10 - as a rule I usually plant out last week of May. Start hardening them off now, out in the day and in at night. Im aiming for planting out the tender stuff next week.

Thanks Scarlet, I wanted to know the answer to that as well. Will start leaving mine out of PT during the day to prepare them
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday Ive got 7 and 9 forecast. After that I'm hoping for warmer nights. I've put out my french beans and courgettes this morning in their trays to start hardening them off.
Check the wether forecast with you Crafty. I'm in the South West. Astraman where abouts are you? If you are up North it might be a bit colder for a couple more weeks.

You must have a sheltered spot BM.

Come to think of it, the plot does keep a couple of degrees higher than the rest of the garden.

You could put them out and cover with some cloches. I've got a couple of cheap "plastic tunnels" they are about a foot high and 6ft long. I often use those for covering plants that need a bit of protection.
