I have a few different types of powered and liquid plant feed which I bought last year. They've been kept in a cool dark room/ cupboard in the house all the time. Does the nutrients drop over time ??

I've never thought about it, I just use any feeds till they have gone irrespective of how old they are.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

I sure hope it is a few years, like 10+. I found a pack of Plant Food a couple of weeks back and dissolve it in water, others I have had I scatter over. All are old, very old - can you read runic symbold ?
One large bag of the pelleted stuff that keeps hiding I have noticed that the plastic of the bag is breaking down - not sure how long that takes.
Suppose that it cannot do harm, so even if useless it makes me feel good. Although I now get the idea that perhaps I should dispose of it all and get some new stuff.

I've just used up an old packet of BFB which I found in amongst a pile of pots that I'd had since my old house >>> been here for 3 years now, so is probably 5 years old >>> anyway, it's been sprinkled onto the ground where I'm going to plant my runners out ...~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
