Here on the Lincolnshire coast we don't have to worry about weather forecasts - from 1st May to 31st October it's sunny every day, with a little light breeze and rain overnight to keep everything in the garden lush and green
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?

Here it's 26C in the shade, a bit hot too work outside until the late afternoon. My sweet peppers are starting to wilt so I give them extra water every day. Some are about 25cm high but no flower buds as yet.

Your peppers surprise me boatsman. These are my snackbite peppers, on my landing windowsill:

Plenty of fruit forming, although nothing turning red/orange/yellow yet.

Here in Yorkshire its a barmy 13.5C today. It was warmer than this in December!

Weather got up to 20deg here today.
All my plants are outdoors now.
My cucumbers are full of flowers with some tiny fruits on.
My Sweetpeas, which I sowed last autumn are flowering.
My bucket of peas are also flowering.
Dahlias all planted out and one, which only germinated in March has a bud on it.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Hi Bramble - do you reckon the sweet peas are better than if you'd planted them springtime? I have had no end of trouble getting them past the slugs vs just growing them in spring.
