Tomato stem splitting into two

Fan train them on individual canes................Hmmmmmmm, I feel an experiment coming on..............or if you have the space, hows about Espalier Toms............

I've 3 varieties of tomato that are doing it, in fact i think more have split than not!
Think I even have a couple of peppers have got in on the action.
Plus one of my small tomatoes I'm keeping as a backup has an interesting side shoot from one of its seed leaves.
