My 90 year old mother in law from New Zealand who still does her garden on her own, said that diluted milk was good for powdery mildew. I was wondering about epsom salts but one of the gardeners at my local garden centre said no because makes the soil too salty? He said just use Tomorite.
I had a disaster with my broccoli as I had flea beetle and looked at YouTube and an american said he used mouth wash with washing up liquid. Stupid me instead of trying a couple of plants did all of them and now I am going to have to dig them up as they have died and still did not get rid of the flea beetle but the ultimate fruit and veg killer worked well on my rocket salad. I have learned a lesson.
