    Just busy doing a happy dance. Hubby went to check the plot for me and found a pea pod growing!!!!!
    Totally pointless post I'm sorry I'm just too excited. Had to tell so.eone who might understand so headed for you lovely lot

    Looks like another pod below and left of the hand!
    That'll be one each because they'll never make it to the kitchen

      Eeeeek I got too excited to actually look for any more lol. Thanks for pointing them out. 5 of us in total so I could do with a couple more popping up then I stand a chance at trying one
      the plot is 6 mile away but you have no idea how tempting it is just to drive the 6 miles there just to hunt for more

            We grew 1 lot before in our garden when we had somewhere for them in the old house but then didn't have a little bit for veggies when we moved. It's a 70ft garden so you'd think there is loads of room but nope nowhere safe. So I feel like a massive kid getting the chance again.
            He saw a flower on one of the melon plants too but didn't take a pic!!!!!!!! How could he not?!?!

                I love fresh peas so much that I grow the tiny variety Half Pint on my windowsill, sowing them in January for a few pods in March and April. The plants grow to about a foot high and flower sporadically - they are now outside and still producing a few small pods.
