I picked my first mangetout yesterday (very yummy) but I wasn't really sure how to pick them.
Am I supposed to just pull off each mangetout or am I supposed to pull off the whole flowerhead with it
Does it even matter?
I left the flower parts on and just picked the pod bits. Now I'm wondering if I've done the wrong thing and whether any more will grow
Same with peas. Am I supposed to just pluck out the pods or take the whole bit including the flower part and stalk???
Very muddled. I have watched lots of videos but none seem to explain this particular point and whether it even matters or not. Really I want to do the best thing for getting lots of new peas/beans to grow.
