Marketmore cues

My Marketmore cues have loads of flowers. They grow fine until about 2 inches long then suddenly turn yellow and bitter. The packet does not say to remove male flowers. Seeds are in date for sowing as they were free with GYO. They are growing outsde ( Spain )

could it be pollination issues? You could try hand pollinating a few and see if you have the same problem?

the issue is obvious pollination as for the suggested causes are none starters.
