Blight resistant tomatoes?

Hello,
has anyone grown blight resistant tomatoes? if so what variety did you grow and were they nice?
also, is there such a thing as heirloom blight resistant tomatoes?

We have potato blight on the allotment and all my tomato plants in the polytunnel are infected, I would like to grow a blight resistant variety next year but only if they are tasty and reasonably productive.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

The most blight resistant for me last year was Mountain Magic, I had heirloom variety next to it completely ravaged with blight and that didnt have a spot on it

Crimson Crush is also marketed as blight resistant, it did get a little blight but it wont bring the plant down, its only odd leaf here and there.

In terms of heirloom there is a variety called Matts wild cherry which is tests is very very blight resistant.

There are a number of F1 hybrids available with varying blight resistance claims.
Mountain Magic, Fandango, Losetto, Crimson Crush, Ferline etc.

For a non-F1 you could consider Legend, which I've seen at Real Seeds and Plants of Distinction:

I'm growing Legend this year, but in a GH. Good size fruits but not yet ripe so I can't tell you about taste.

I Think the "wild" cordon toms are very blight resistant...broad ripple yellow currant, Chiapas wild tomato... Ive tasted ferline and I didn't rate it. If I had to grow tomatoes outside with the threat of blight I would grow a short maturing bush Tom... Latah, maskotka, etc. I'm already eating Latah,lucky leprechaun & VC's rambling red stripe, and if it was a cordon...BRYC - the second truss of broad ripple is ripening already.

I'm trying Mountain Magic and Ferline this year, outdoors at my friend's where I haven't eaten a single outdoor tomato in the last 2 years due to blight. I'm also growing them at home where I don't have such a blight problem, and I'm also growing Legend outdoors here too. Its very much an experiment - if I don't like the taste I won't grown them again.

We're also growing Mountain Magic for the first time so can't say as yet about the flavour, taking plenty of armpit cuttings though just in case we get an Indian summer.

Can you grow the armpits from the plants? Didn't know that to be honest.

Taking note of recommendations for next year, will watch for taste test updates as the season progresses

Nick, armpits root very quickly in water. Much faster than growing from seed. You need a sturdy armpit though, the size that should have been nipped out weeks before

Honestly, will hAve to get a list of what they are as there are quite a few so I can't remember. I know Alicante, some random tomatoes a fellow Italian lady gave me, some from dt brown offer last bank holiday, I will post a list when I go down next as I did save the tags and put them in each pot
