Both of my Marketmore's are outside in planters. They are about 3ft high and have loads of flowers, some with teeny cumbers as well.

Up untill recently I was doing the okey coky with the large bell cloches - now they are too big for them.

I am just going to leave them and see what happens as everything in my garden has to be as tough as nails to survive both me and the weather.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

My Marketmore have only just made it from the propagator into vending machine cups, my Burpless are less enthusiastic about climbing this year but I do have flowers and mini cucumbers behind, problem is going to me they will hit the ground as they grow and I fear the slugs will nave them

Marketmore are ridge cucumbers which need pollinating. Like my Vega, they may be only producing one type of flowers (mine are all female at the moment) and therefore not being pollinated. If you find a male flower (with no tiny cuc behind it), take it off, peel back the petals and stick the middle of it into as many of the female flowers as you can to pollinate them. I find leaving it to the insects is very hit and miss with cucumbers for some reason.

The all female varieties do not want pollinating, so for other varieties google and check before you do this! Ridge/outdoor/traditional types need pollinating, all female/indoor types do not.

I'm growing mine in the polytunnel. I have been impressed. Mine are prolific we've had 10 massive cucs already and loads of flowers. The plants are growing like mad. Seeing that these were tiny plug plants. From Organic Plants Passandra F1.

As Pene says, Marketmore are an outdoor variety so if growing undercover may reduce pollination.

Chasingmytail's growing Passandra F1 which is normally grown undercover and all-female, unlike Marketmore which is male/female and grown outdoors.
However, I've just read a trial that concluded that Passandra could be grow outdoors too
