Still confused Is this blight?

I know there have been several posts on this subject but i am still confused.The first picture shows the leaves from a plant in the green house, the leaves had had these yellow spots for weeks, some of the yellow areas have gone brown

The second picture shows a leaf from the outdoor tomatoes the have suddenly got these brown spots. are they both blight.


Thanks for your help from a very confused grape who has never had blight before.

They look like exhausted leaves Bal, play safe and cut them off.

Bal, I am not that far from you and my toms have some leaves like that. As BM said remove the worst ones.

Yesterday I took a belt and braces approach to all of mine (all outside) and fed them with muli purpose feed, tom food and a bit of epsom salts.

They look a little better this morning - mind you that could have been yesterdays sun.

Looks like magnesium deficiency it starts off pale green & turns dark brown,try a feed of Epsom salts. I had it on some of mine because I swapped my feeding routine this year,I was using only seaweed extract for the first couple of months instead of miracle grow high nitrogen feed. So seaweed plus Epsom salts next year should avoid it happening I must remember.

Mine showed signs of it early on in the 3" pot stage,if I feed Epsom salts somewhere between April-May I might avoid it completely. If I forget the plants will show me with their leaves. Tomato plants are quite emotional aren't they.

All you can do as with any plant is cut out any diseased, damaged or dead material...........Just remember DDD.

Just been reading through this thread and are very pleased to find that it is not blight that I have. Have given them some Epson salts a few weeks ago. Is it possible to give to much salt. Only gave a small amount.

I gave mine (in 3" pots) a liquid feed of 20grams per 1 litre of water once a week or fortnight,which i estimated at 2 dessertspoons of the salt not heaped though,keep it safe. My amount could be wrong but it helped most of my plants - probably 12? that were showing this deficiency. After a couple of treatments the leaves recovered & went green again but two plants needed another feed after I planted them out,they were still a bit stressed looking so I gave them more,their leaves may have been too badly damaged,browner patches which I suppose means it's partly dead? But since then the plants have grown a lot & it was the bottom few stems that were seriously affected,so I cut them off & it's carrying on growing.
