Moving Asparagus

Evening all

I have an established asparagus bed at the allotment from previous tenants however, its in the way... and I want to move it!

What I want to know is, once I dig up and relocate, do I need to wait for two years before harvesting again?! Probably a silly question... sorry

As far as I know you can move it and not wait 2 years. I believe you need to move it once it has browned and died back for the season. Then you prepare your new bed with lots of nice loose soil. Dig out as much of the root system as you can then transplant to its new home. Then it has time to establish it's roots before spring
