My latest and best attempt so far resulted in 4 seedlings, 3 of which died at the 4 leaf stage. The remaining one grew a few more leaves and was planted into a container, in which it survived over winter before the middle part died and it was clearly not going to produce anything edible. (Variety was All The Year Round).

One of the problems I find is over wintering stuff in containers. I usually try to keep them in the GH as even the lightest frost can easily freeze the roots due to the sides of the container being exposed.

Potty have you tried Aalsmeer? Stands really well over winter, think it would probably grow in a freezer.....happy tosend you some seeds to try?
