Llevrah, years ago it belonged to a man who had some sheds on it and processed scrap wood for kindling for the folk who lived in the village the site serves. From what I can see, he simply dropped anything he couldn't use....

I've pulled out electrical fittings, car parts, taps, piping, coat hooks, wardrobe fittings... if it's metal or plastic and it comes fixed to wooden objects, then it's probably in our plot somewhere.

Ah I see. That answers it then. Was wondering if it was something to do with what he had been growing e.g blueberries. I've heard people bury cans, nails etc in the soil to help the acidity
