Opinions, please? I had a spot of blackleg on one haulm a while ago, now several are wilting and yellowing. I'm wondering now if it's blight? No silvering under the leaves.... mostly affecting stems. They're Desire.

I've actually got similar on my desiree - although mine are now starting to die off. I was worried about blight (mine looked more like blight patches - yours dont really) but its not spread to anything else and its been a few weeks now. The yellow leaves started to die off, and I thought that meant they'd be ready for harvesting - but half of the bag is still going strong!
Very odd

I've just been cutting off my dead bits of plant & yellowing leaves on my main crop rooster, left the greenery alone. I don't think it's blight,if that stem had died because of blight the other stems would show some signs or the leaves. I think some potatoes might be ready now & dying down because they've produced huge potatoes down there, others are still growing so have lots of greenery. It's just a guess? I haven't seen any brown blight markings here & mine look similar to yours. Keep a check on them, have a look at the stems because it would get worse if it was blight but I don't think it is.Location : Essex

Possibly a mineral deficiency?
Have a look at this and see if you spot any that look like yours:

Agree it doesn't look like blight. I also have potato foliage dying down very erratically. I think it might have something to do with the hot, windy weather which is very drying and probably stressing the plants.A life is like a garden. I would suspect its blackleg. I hsve been growing potatoes for years and this is the first year I have come across it.
It must be the weather because so many people seem to have been hit with it.
So much unseasonable weather.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Play safe & remove the leaves Bario, they often go like that when they are dying down but your looks so healthy at the moment.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”
