My Lady C potato dustbins harvest has been poor this year, way down on normal, today I found what I believe to be the culprit...................my water butt.....
Its has sprung a leak and with all the rain the dustbins have been constantly sat in a puddle of water when I had a closer look the bottom 6 inch of compost was saturated hardly good for root structure...
At least I am a little happier having hopefully found the problem.
