christmas potatoes

Hi to all . I would like some advice please from this great fountain of knowledge
and experience. I would like to know how to grow potatoes in big containers
for christmas . First of all is it possible and if so what would be the best variety
and method. A big thank you in advance

Unless your containers are already undercover (greenhouse/polytunnel) then you need to think ahead as to size & more importantly .. weight, as temperatures drop & the likelyhood of frost rises, the containers will need to be moved undercover for protection.
