I had two in a south facing green house and one outside the one outside managed to get edible fruit, the ones in the greenhouse just dropped off, may try one again next year!
I had 2 fruits last year outside. Inside the greenhouse I have half of one. It gave up half way. I might get the seeds back but doesn't seem worth growing. La diva cucumber was way nicer. These little melons didn't taste of anything but cucumber to me.
I love watching cucamelons grow (outside, in pots) - the way their tendrils zigzag is fascinating. Had plenty of fruit but always thought they were a bit bland. They do look very pretty in a salad but I gave over their space to tastier produce this year.
