Winter Radishes

These are the bigguns like Black Spanish Round, Red Flesh/meat and Mooli - not the tiddly little summer salad ones!

Although I have seeds I never remember to sow them at the right time - about now, I think
Any recommendations on varieties and growing/cooking tips please?

I'm growing black winter Spanish round (I think!) from real seeds. First time growing though so can't really help

Sowed some 2 weeks ago and some last week. Pretty good germination rate looking at the rows, but will wait to see how many get slugged.....

Most of my seedling were eaten by slugs, so I've sown another row. fingers crossed.
