Well, for August, a difficult decision, between cucumber and tromboncino .......

I'm going with my tromboncino for first place, with my big-bad-boy pumpkin - which is still growing as runner up 'cos I haven't eaten it yet..!!!

Vegetable of the month is last years runner bean plants that are growing again this year & doing better than this years plants & I didn't have to do anything with them,except give them a teepee so they'd get off my brussels sprouts. Runner up is Evesham Special brussels sprouts.
