Getting the other half of the circle down suddenly makes it stand out.
You know there might be some flags underneath the base of the see through shack greenhouse I'm demolishing - if you fancy clearing it and having a look (well, got to try)

Flying visit tonight as it was nearly dark when I got there. Lit the woodburner and sat contemplating by the light of the fire!
I'm not one for rigid crop rotaion, but as I will have four main keyhole beds I may as well rotate. Might even join Jay-el in a legumathon in one bed, brassicas in other, roots in one bed and alliums in tuther.
What I will then have left is a central circular keyhole bed and my contemplations got me to wondering whether to make it 'Broth' bed? By broth bed I mean grow all the stuff that goes into a broth, carrots, turnips, onions, parsnip, celery (Kintsai, as I like the leaves) and leeks.
Alternate radial rows of each would look the part and save me plundering the main roots, brassicas and allium beds to get broth material. It would also add interest to the view from the summerhouse. My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Shoveleed a couple of barrow loads of soil from a heap into a depression where the concrete path used to be.
Pegged out a centre line from the centre of the new greenhouse to the Summerhouse to act as a datum line for laying flags. I also need to string out a datum line through the centre of the first keyhole at 90 degrees to ascertain the path position tuther way!
Eyed up some very thick and heavy paving flags that no one wants (they probably can't pick em up!) I will bring my sack barrow to plot and shift them to plot 24 , one at a time!
Darkness came quickly and stopped play!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

I took the sack barrow to the allotments and managed to shift 4 humungus flags one at a time about 100 metres along a bumpy track. Three of them were set into position then the sack barrow fellover with the last one and smashed the corner offf.............bugger!
The flags are only two foot square but must be about two and a half inches thick!
Bad light and a bad back stopped play again! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
