    That is the magic phrase "in between wet days", that's the hard part,for the last 3yrs we have had no real summer at all,melons dying of the constant cold, in a greenhouse?, two years running ,this year was 1 melon from 3 plants. We did have crops that loved the weather, raspberries,gooseberries,apples,rhubarb,blueberries, have all been spectacular and some peaches and apricots in the back g/house so it will not be a disaster but do get fed up of the forecast foul ups where they talk of high temps you know you will never get, heatwave, I've seen them on the telly...

      Doing better than me - no melons (not even flowers) from 6 plants over 2 years, in a greenhouse
