First time I've grown it and the other plants were eaten by slugs. I'm not sure if the seed was just a different variety in the packet or something has gone wrong, but this is the only 'fruit' I got on the plant. I'm not sure if it's just turned into a marrow or whether it will ripen into a squash. Any ideas anyone?

With the ridges, it looks as if it could be a green acorn squash - like Table Ace or Table QueenLast edited by Thelma Sanders; 19-09-2016, 08:07 PM.

The ridges don't look very clear in real life, I'd not even noticed them. Having looked back at my seed order, I did order some buttercup squash which is a similar colour, so maybe the label got stuck in the wrong pot (although I have no idea what happened to the rest of the plants!)
