Update!
My target of February may be a little adventurous, I reckon it will be nearer March/April. However, the front tower is now showing through the top so will let the foliage come through now, the 2 side towers are a little behind so will see how they fair:

It's a shame the previous photos have been lost for comparison. However, I don't know if I am going to be on target for a March crop but we'll see. Watch this space as they say.

Keep your fingers crossed BM, as you know I grow main crop in dustbins and often find spuds within 2 inches of the surface of the compost. I don't see where else they can come from but the stalk as the seed is all within 4 to 5 inches of the bottom of the bin.Potty by name Potty by nature.
