    A tropical paradise, where the onions skip freely alongside the bananas, passion fruit and water melons.
    In the evenings it's hammock time, gently swaying away, whilst gazing at the glorious sunset, listening to bossa nova and patting it leaves down with a bit of after-sun lotion.

      It says long day onion everywhere I go? Never grown it before hope I can get it bulbing where I live.

        I've grown Ailsa Craig from seed for 2 years now - ie not very long! This year was less good than last, but still got me a big bag of them.

        Start mine in Feb and get a range of onions from respectable to whoppers. Plus I haven't much room (I need space for my squash addiction) I'm not stuck with a load of unwanted sets.
