Having not getting much time at the moment to get to the plot is it worth chitting my garlic rather than trying to get up and plant it straight out

When you have a hammer in your hand everything around you starts looking like a nail. -
I have already put garlic (Marco and Elephant) in modules ready to go in the ground in spring. They have 10 cm shoots already. I will also put shallots in modules on boxing day.
So it is up to you, everything is possible.

I chitted some one year in modules just stuck in the top like onion sets.
Cloves went green but once planted underground the husk just drops off anyway.

I planted mine in modules last year - they will grow fast though so keep an eye on themComment
