    • Yep as Scarlet says, I would tend towards pinching them off..Plants are probably too small yet..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

      • Mine are all still tiny. Most are about an inch tall. One or two are about 2 inches tall.

          • Overwintered plants are now starting to take off

I have a particularly good Orange Habanero plant which has already flowered and produced tiny fruits. I've given it a slight pruning and transfered to a bigger pot. Will be interesting to see how much bigger and more productive it will be in its second year.

Where did you get your Joes Long seeds from? They've always done really well for me.

I've been growing them from self saved seed the last few years. I've got some spare seeds on offer in my giveaway if you'd like some.

                      • I have my first ripe fruit of the year, on the OW Super Chilli. All OWs are doing well. Lots of fruit on Gusto Purple, first couple have set on Not Scotch and Cayenne. Paper Lantern flowering bit none set yet. I'm now in Spain and hoping other half isn't killing them. Didn't manage to pot up all the seedlings so the ones still in Jiffy 7s are the most vulnerable. Fingers crossed!

                        • 3 weeds(Cayennes) planted on into pots today after losing the first batch, one sweet pepper also re potted, still no lemon drops, even with soaking first. I'll give them another week, then they're out of the propagator as I need the space for tomatoes.

Don't hold your breath! I came home after a week away a couple of years back to find my plants had been left knee deep in water

                            • My overwintered Numex Twilight (x2) and Lemon Drop (x2) are doing really well and starting to grow new leaves. The rest have now gone on the compost heap as I was sick of looking at them.

I've gone for milds with my seeds as I'm so late sowing, so hopefully will get a good haul from the over wintering!

Oh no! Did any survive? I did say to water only if they feel light when picked up. I think he knows not to leave them sitting in water.
