  • Three rows of carrots - not having much luck with carrots this year.

    • My last 3 varieties of carrot in flower buckets.
      Another 4 varieties of mixed salad leaves
      2 more types of micro greens
      4 cells of kale Nero di Toscana

      • Cucumber Marketmore, courgettes and Atlantic Giant and Cinderella pumpkins

        • 2 varieties of spinach (1 to replace my bolting crop, 1 in the salad bar )
          Peas, mixed salad, claytonia, mustard ( all in the salad bar )

          • Very late: futsu, butternut and uchiki kuri squash, ogen and emir melons, more black beauty and jemmer courgettes, all year round lettuce.

            Bit late: Lark sweetcorn.

            Still playing catch-up, but hope these will do OK. Winter cabbages have been eaten by caterpillars, so will have to start a new lot today.

            • Started off Traviata cabbages, more Crosby's Egyptian and Burpee's Golden beetroot plus All Year Round and Webb's Wonderful lettuce yesterday.

              Sprint and Purple Haze carrots sown this morning.

                  • I've been sowing purple haze carrots too two days ago I planted out some red duke of York first earlies in a potato bag & sowed some beans.

                    • A few weeks ago I sowed a couple of thin rows of Bulb Fennel in the green house, 3 germinated, so I've sown some more, might be late but last year I tried in the mini polytunnel sowing earlier and they all went to seed.

                      • Yesterday I did some more sowing into guttering ( micro greens )
                        Cress, American land cress, lettuce, basil & celery.

                        • This morning I sowed some Trail of Tears beans direct at the base of the canes where the slug ravaged plants are attempting to cling to life.
                          Also sowed a tray of Spring onions.

                            • Swede in 3" paper pots.
                              Did half a dozen a week ago and they are looking good, so did another dozen.
                              Education is important, but motorbikes is importanter.

                              • Been sowing lots of spring onion recently, just from shop bought ends of bulbs once used up, they've grown remarkably well in just a week, hoping I get some off them.
