^^^wallflowers? I am intrigued, do you usually sow them around now? If so, when do they tend to flower?
Nope, never grown them before - the packet didn't actually say when to sow, it just said they flower in the Autumn and again in the Spring! When are you supposed to sow them?
Biennials are June/ July sowing for flowering the following year. You can sow them early spring to flower same year but they aren't meant to be as good. I have only sown wallflowers once and the same plants are rather leggy and ancient. I think they are 3 years old now

The other day I sowed the last 40 of my tomato seeds,on the bathroom windowsill, they haven't germinated yet. Totals at 29 tomato varieties, most of them new varieties thanks to the tomato seed circle & Scarlet Yesterday I sowed about 20 leeks in a deep container they're outside in the blowaway with the door wide open,2 large containers with rooster main crop potato & 2 potato bags with Charlotte second earlies. I used some old potato compost with BFB added for dwarf peas, they're in two large containers, one has twinkle peas & one with Avola peas, carrot seeds will be added when I know where the peas are...haven't sowed any carrot seeds yet
