Went and got some compost. I then went to aldi and got some more compost becaust the incinirators weren't cheap but the compost was.
Potted up a couple of toms and peppers - 2 tome and 4 peppers left to do. Got to take the staging ddown from the GH so I can plug them into the irrigation system.
Pulled out the daffodil garlic bulbs as they had died back. Also pulled up some of the Oerprei which had flopped over because I couldn't wait for the leaves to die back to have a looksee - looking good, should be onto a nice harvest with lots to plant for next year.
Watered the Yacon bed. Watered the other Yacon bed. Watered a third Yacon Bed. Watered in the greenhouse - the Yacon in there isn't plugged into the irrigation yet.
Harvested Autumn Raspberries, Peas, Rocket, Carrots, Strawberries.

My first pick of the year. Thing when I sowed them a few months ago they were to close together and should of thinned them out but didn't expect every seed to crop!
If I finally chop them it goes nicely in a potato salad. Got stir fry tomorrow and hoping a pepper will be joining the spring onion!

I was originally going down early to water the peas and other bes but at 7am there was a great peal of thunder and a downpour that I didn't have to. Went down a bit later instead.
Finished potting the toms and peppers up. Took down the most of the staging to make space for them. Plugged new drippers into the irrigation for them and the Yacon in the Greenhouse - the greenhouse is looking less like a store room and more like a place for growing things.
Weeded, pulled up a couple of red onions that were bolting. Pulled of garlic scapes, Ripped out the walls to a bed and I'm nearly at the stage where I can lay out the 2 beds that's going to replace it - soil has been dug and piled into reasonable approximations of the new bed - just have to sort out wood and screws. There's still a bit of the original bed to dig the weed fabric out from under but I'm getting there.
As the slugs had half of the original sowing I popped a few more gigantes runner beans in next to the beanhouse although the survivors of the original lot are now romping up the strings, as are the scarlet runners on the other side of the house.
The toms and peppers are forming flowers. My lingonberry has flowers on it - so does the garden huckleberry. All the oca are up, the Tiger Nuts are spreading, the dwarf runners are opening their flowers, the climbing peas are forming flowers, the strawberries keep on producing, black currants are getting blacker, the cherries are nearly red (next doors reddest cherry had been nabbed by the birds again), figs are swelling, there's a handfull of blueberries and pink blueberries ripening - all looking good.

Forgive me father for I have sinned, It's been about a month since my last posting here.
I won't go into detail, suffice to say a lot has been going on and harvest is underway big time :-)
I'm having a huge shed erected at home next tuesday (22' x 10') and the slab was poured this morning by all accounts. I had to dig out and leven the site first so aided with a mini digger hire we took out in excess of 16T soil one weekend! Last night I moved the final 1.5T by (now blistered) hand.
Lots of tending plants and watering, the pots and hanging baskets are blooming and I am busy at work too so posting has proven difficult.
I bet none of you even noticed my absence. Anyway I'm here to annoy you so get used to it!
