              • Popped into W1lk0 and got a bag of 3 hostas to grow and create a slug buffet area for the frogs.

As my Ramsons rug currently consists of a single plant with one and a half leaves I ordered a batch of plants on the green. Postie came today carrying a large garlic smelling box. He didn't look too happy.

                  • Moved the compost dalek, dug over half a bed and planted out the last of the spuds - Rooster. Hoed/weeded the two spud beds and covered with fleece with an eye to the forecasts...

Cut some water pipe to make a frame for a raised bed so I can fleece/net it. Fleeced it.

Lifted the fleece off the onions and weeded them.

Dropped the last 3 tubers of Sarpo Blue Danube into holes in a disused corner. Vigorous, they say. Suppresses weeds, they say. We shall see!

Took some pics of a huge worm.

                      • Made a couple of hardening off benches ( board of waiting for him to make it! ).
Tidied up my tunnels and done some tray juggling ( all sales plants and my plants are now separate ).
Fixed up some pallets ( they were feeling very sorry for themselves! ), they will be needed in the new tunnel for my chillies to sit on.
Got my sales barrow out and gave it a good clean.

                        • Had an easy day today if I remember correctly...............made half a dozen watering aids out of 2lt pop bottles & 12" lengths of 20mm pipe glued into the openings, cut the bottoms off the bottles, placed in the strawberry bed & filled with water..............similar to this only my 20mm tubes went inside the bottle:

                            • Put in three rows of spuds, Axona, Pentland Javlin, and another first early that starts with a c (can't remember what its called!). Got fed up of digging, and mounding up so put the 5 Anya's and 5 Caras I had into potato bags.
Checked on the radish and parsnip seeds I put in - some of the radishes are up, not sure about the parsnips, could just be weed seedlings.
Put some carrot seedlings into mfbs, will do some more tomorrow. There's hundreds of them, so I may donate a bucket or two to my sister, as my niece adores carrots.
