                    A watched tomato never ripens?

                    • I recall a post about putting a lock on a greenhouse door and I thought ......why?
I now know, I would like to harvest my first tomato but my wife keeps nicking them, apparently they taste delicious..............

Is it a good year for currants? I've harvested 4 lb of redcurrants from one bush, with
possibly another 10 lbs to come off it.

                          • Cucumber, chives, mixed lettuce and a hand full of raspberries that I ate in the garden.

Forgot to mention Charlotte potatoes and some mint.

Carrots, Beetroot, Dwarf Runner Beans, Courgettes, Tumbler Tomatoes and a Roundhead Cabbage.

These were supposed to be harvested yesterday until a series of thunderstorms decided to make an appearance in the afternoon. My brave Border collie decided that with me sitting on my office chair it was far more important for him to sit on my lap shaking from tip to toe than letting me brave the downpour and pull carrots et cetera! Have you ever had a full sized Border collie sit on you? I can tell you it’s not pleasant!
