First of this season's kale - 'asparagus kale' - lovely!

Just dug up the first lot of garlic I planted out last autumn,they'd fallen down & picked these strawberries,I've seen birds going near my strawberries-sparrows,blackbirds & they haven't touched them,unless they haven't noticed them yet,I'm surprised unless they just prefer the bird seed,fat balls & insects?
