                • I've been harvesting sweet peas every couple of days - they're amazing! My support structure isn't so good, but I'm delighted with the flowers. Edibles.. Parsley, courgettes, French beans and just waiting on the last few artichokes to swell

                      • Beans - runner and French - gazillions, courgettes - more than I can carry without a very big bag, greengages - bucketsful and the damsons are so close to being ready. Cucumbers - loads! Nature's bounty is wonderful but it does mean that my house stinks of vinegar, onions and pickling spices. Am I complaining? No. Just saying.

                          • A wide variety of tomatoes, chillies and sweet peppers ripening.

Some available to pick every day at the moment, so it's a great time of year

Also chives and basil growing as fast as I need it, so pretty much an unlimited supply of both.

                            • Picked loads of tomatoes today. Lots of chillis as well.
Decided to dig up all my potatoes together as it looked like blight weather.
Lots of big ones with the biggest one weighing just under 3 lbs.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
