  • 25 pounds of greengages! And this is the second lot I have picked ... and the tree is still laden. Damsons are almost ready too. I can't deal with this quickly enough, so I am taking a bucket of gages with me to Ramblers tomorrow. Spread the love around.

        • Just lifted the first of the 'purple haze' carrots grown in a large container. They're in the freezer now,except I ate those three small ones. Also the first sweetcorn 'ovation' just cooked it,really tasty,sweet & juicy,it puts you in a trance of I can't believe life

                              • My 5th spud bag harvested. Just over 1.8kg from one plant. Now mash or chips for tea?
