  • First ever pears produced on my Williams pear tree,I picked them about two days ago but they're still a bit hard so I'll leave them for a bit.

      • Yesterday was Mixed lettuce, basil, garlic chives, Charlotte potatoes/mint, black cherry toms, marketmore cuc, boltardy beets, nasturtium pods and flowers all to make a salad eaten with Smoked mackerel.
        Location....East Midlands.

          • A few flowers, beetroot, some rather curly climbing beans, a courgette, first of the winter PSB, and a couple of sweetcorn

              • Today just some Worcester Pearmain apples, raspberries and blackberries. Then nasturtium pods for pickling.
                Location....East Midlands.

                • Beetroot, the last of the bolting onions, a few carrots & dug 3 spud plants that appeared in last years bed. With a grand total of 7 small pink fir apple!

                      • The usual - orach, French beans (loving cobra - only one plant survived and we've had loads), runners, Huauzontle, a chili for dinner.

                        Plus - drumroll please - my first courgette of the year! ok so by this time last year I was round about the 100 mark, but this year that's an achievement

                            • The first of my parsnips, carrots, thyme, parsley and a bay leaves to go in a beef stew along with some JA's and peas out of the freezer.
                              Then the usual apples and raspberries.
