  • Tomatoes, sweet peppers and chilli peppers.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

            • Last of the runneer beans, and took the plants/canes down before tomorrow’s storm does it for me.
Also courgettes, sweet peppers and lots of green tomotoes

                Well impressed with these.

Another photo! The smaller beans are the ones I sowed, the larger are the ones I grew. I guess they will shrink as they dry - but I may have to eat them before that happens.

                  • A nice punnet of strawberries. 300g worth - not bad for mid October

More tomatoes from greenhouse. I didn't manage to put my pot bound toms in until June, so didn't start getting ripe toms until mid August.

Flaming ell VC ! They are massive! You'll only need 3 for a main meal! What do you do with them?

I've harvested a swede and a leek. Then decided to cook something else. meal times are very tricky with a sick boy.

                        • A trug of Worcester Pearmain apples that I've turned into juice for the freezer. About a handful of raspberries only a few more waiting to ripen then that's it for them.
