In Lidl the other day I picked up some Palermo pointed red peppers. They're very tasty and sweet so I've saved the seeds. World seeds site says they're suited to growing in cooler climates. I've had success saving seed from unknown varieties before but wondered if anyone here has grown Palermo in the UK.

Mr B, yes they're a great variety. They were my best sweet peppers in 2015 and will be growing them again this year.
PALERMO POINTED SEEDS (PEPPER)
I have some spare self-saved seeds as part of my giveaway:

I like to use them for something like this, although I leave out the anchovies and add some slices of mozzarella or mascarpone.

Wow that's an impressive list of seeds Chris, I couldn't imagine the dedication and time it must have taken to collect so many. Really looking forward to growing Palermo now.
Thanks for the feedback.
PS that pepper dish makes me feel hungryLocation ... Nottingham
