Hi
I have been sorting out my crop rotation and sowing / harvesting plan and just wanted a bit of advice with regards to late & early brassicas.
My 4 year plan goes:
1. Legumes - 2. Brassicas - 3. Onions / Potatoes - 4. Roots / Fruits
What I intend to do is have my broad beans & mange tout out by August and plant overwintering brassicas such as kale, sprouting broccoli, winter cabbage.
My dilemma comes the next year. The kale etc will be out around March and I intend to follow these with summer brassicas such as calabrese, romanesco & summer cabbages in April / May
I will be raising all my plants from seed.
Is this something that would be ok or would you recommend against it.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Steve
