Well, the Douce Provence have failed me More space for something else I say, a quick crop of radishes whilst the outdoor tomatoes are getting their act together...... Luckily I sowed the Kelvedon Wonder at the north end of the bed so they won't shade others out. You win some you lose some. Adapt and survive that's the motto.....
Well I sowed some Terrain peas into compost (following Charles Downing's method) giving them a good watering initially and leaving without watering again. Suffice to say they were no show and rotted in the compost.
If they are in a greenhouse and in the sun they could literally have cooked. I had this happen to one lot I tried to germinate in my friend's greenhouse.
