hello, im new to the site and to gardening. I was wondering if anyone could help me, for the first time I have grown some runner beans, I live on a farm, a converted cow shed so my garden is the concrete yard, so I have a large crate, they have been fine up to recently, the soil is good and has some horse manure in there, wat am I doing wrong, the leaves are black and curly round the outside and at the bottom they have no leaves. I did feed with some organic tom food of late, could it be that, plse help

Welcome to the Vine Sindy. Not sure about your runner beans. The instructions on tomato feed do say don't pour it on the leaves but I doubt that is the whole problem. Can you post a pic?

hello there and thanks for the replies, what a great forumthis is wish I had found it earlier, ive relocated from west sussex to somerset in the hope of simplifying our lives and getting out the rat race and have been desperate to grow my own flowers and veg for many years, We got married a few weeks ago and I grew all my wedding plants, sweet peas and dalias, unfortunatel the wind and weather battered them but still managed to grow them, so now i would like a apologise in advance for all my questions im going to ask. I will try to take a pic and post it. Could anyone tell me how I start to make a blog of my gardening highs and lows, bare in mind i know nothing about computers.
