My first earlies (Lady C) were planted in pots in mid- late February and are under cloches and wrapped in bubble wrap. The first bucket planted (12th Feb) now has shoots above ground.
I also planted some saved Charlottes on 15th February in a raised bed which I filled with horse muck to create a mini hotbed. These have had shoots above ground for about a week and they are also under plastic.
I'm hoping the latest forecasts for next week are wrong, as it might get a bit cold!

No. I was thinking about it, but we had a very hard frost this morning and ice several millimetres thick on standing water. I'll be sensible and wait another couple of weeks or so.
Yep. Second early Charlottes and Kestrel went in yesterday. they might get frosted if put in now or they could be blighted before they're ready if they go in later.
