Snoop I try a couple in the backyard at home but they never do brilliantly. I managed to get Sungold to fruit, but its flavour wasn't great. I stay hopeful, though... ;-)
I like your suggestion, Penellype thank you! I've sown red pear, tigerella and Sungold... I wonder which would do best?

Like Penellype, we quite like Sungold. They do alright outside if you keep them relatively well watered rather than letting them dry out, as they do have a tendency to split. One good thing about them is that they ripen earlier than our other cherry toms.
Are you maybe picking them a bit before they're properly ripe? They do go quite a good orange colour when ready. Another cherry variety that did OK for us outdoors was Floridity (red, tiny plum shape, good flavour and hold well on the plant). Everyone will say: yes, but you're in Spain. However, we have quite a short growing season where we are, plus it's extremely windy here.

It all looks good to me, Bee. You'll have a lovely display of flowers from your Blue Danubes.
I see you're quite a long way north for outdoor tomatoes. I grew tomatoes very successfully outdoors in north Lancashire way back in the mid seventies. It was my first time trying to grow them, so maybe beginner's luck, and definitely helped by an exceptionally good summer that year.
I can't remember the name of the variety, but they were bush tomatoes specially intended for outdoor growing. I planted them out under cloches that I made from spare panes of greenhouse glass, but they soon grew too big for them.
